As mentiond the other day, my photo staff did a project at the end of the summer called 12 Hours in Downtown Athens. Here are a few of the pictures I took, some published, some not.

Adrianne Smith, 21, refreshes the garnish bar at Repent on Washington Street around 12:30 a.m. July 22, 2007. The bar had a fairly slow night.

The Grill, an Athens late night staple, still attracts people early in the morning July 22. At 3:30 am The Grill draws a crowd even with its reduced a.m. menu.

Ethan Stinnard, 28, locks up Hot Corner Coffee on July 22, 2007 at 3:50 am. Hot Corner, which operates 24/7 during the spring and fall semesters, closes for a few hours every night during the summer finally putting its building locks to use.
