After my summer stint as Photo Editor I am now back at The Red & Black as Chief Photographer. As such, I’ll have more assignments than I did last year which means I’ll be able to post more.Our first edition came out today and I had five photos and a cover photo for our special section, Out & About.

The photo above and the one to the left of this text were taken as a package for the cover of this week’s Out & About, a special variety section that the Red & Black prints every Thursday.They go with a story about cooking tomatoes. The idea for the pictures were a consolidated effort by Page Designer Colin Smith, Section Editor Alec Wooden, and myself.We started off by going to Kroger and taking the photo that ended up becoming the dominant cover art and then purchased a single tomato to take to the Georgia Botanical Gardens. |
