Disc Dawgs

Yesterday was one of those days where there was the possibility that we’d need a stand alone for the cover of the paper.  We ended up not needing it, but while I was out shooting I came across a group of people playing frisbee golf on north campus.  Here are my two favorites.

Whitney Craven, a senior marketing major from Norcross, takes a shot from under a tree while playing frisbee golf on The University of Georgia’s north campus Thursday.  Craven is part of the newly founded “Disc Dawgs” Disc Golf Club.
Pete McPherson, a senior sociology major from Rome, launches a frisbee towards the second hole of the “Disc Dawgs” course from in front of Phi Kappa Hall at The University of Georgia.  The club has designed a full course based on the University’s campus.
