I felt like I didn’t have enough to do last week, so to pull my weight around here I asked to start doing video as well. After looking at the budget sheet yesterday with the news editor I decided to try this assignment about the National Guard Youth Challenge Academy being shut down due to budget cuts.
In my head I had pictures of kids in uniform doing exercises in rank and the whatnot, but apparently they’ve been done with that for awhile. So, after I got there and found this out I had to come up with a new angle and decided to mix them cleaning up the building since they are vacating it soon and various detail shots I saw around the building.
