Pink Ribbons

A local fund raising group called The Sport of Giving held a ceremony at the Gwinnett Medical Center in Duluth, Ga., yesterday to present a cheque for $200,000 to the hospital’s mammography wing.  There wasn’t much about the event that looked amazing visually so I kind of struggled to find something.  I played around a bit with trying to get the giant cheques in a shot with people (that weren’t posed) but they didn’t work out to well.

I had been introduced to a breast cancer survivor though who had recently been tattooed.  I thought it might make for something a bit different so I went with it.

Carol Ray sports a new breast cancer survivor tattoo on her ankle at The Sport of Giving’s recognition ceremony at the Gwinnett Medical Center in Duluth, Ga.  The group gave $200,000 this year and $1,000,000 since the group was founded in 2001.
