Alysha Rudnik

Last week I went to go shoot a portrait of a high school football player up at Buford High School and after I finished I was asked by the writer to grab a portrait of this softball player as well so I wouldn’t have to make another trip back later on in the week.

I had to kind of think of something on the flight and also deal with the limitations of the optical slaves on my flash as well.  This is what I came up with.

Thankfully, Alysha was really patient as i tried getting my lights to work.

You can read the story by Ben Beitzel here.

Alysha Rudnik, a junior at Buford High School, plays catcher for the softball team. She’s already being recruited by several major universities to play at the college level.
