Belly

The other week I shot a child who had Dravet’s Syndrome. Dravet’s is a rare type of epilepsy, only 6 people in Georgia have it. When Ryan was really young one of his seizures left him autistic among some other developmental problems. According to the story, he has about 40 seizures a month and was recently approved by the Make-A-Wish Foundation to recieve a dog that would alert his parents when he has a seizure.

You can read the story by Deanna Allen by clicking here.

B.J. Barrett, left, and Linda Beeler, right, perform part of their belly dance routine in a dance studio at Peachtree Ridge High School. Other courses offered include a class about computers, language programs and driver education.

B.J. Barrett checks out one of her moves in the mirror.
The group comes together.
