Saturday School always seemed like a punishment to me

Gwinnett County Days of Service was this past weekend and Richards Middle School was one of the sites selected this year.  They were doing some landscaping projects so a number of kids from the school showed up to help out.

Shelby Aime, right, pulls up a plant from a bed as Alexandria Allen, left, works beside her at Richards Middle School as part of Gwinnett Great Days of Service 2008. Another site for Great Days of Service was at the Rice Festival in Norcross.

Christa Washington carries bails of hay to the front of Richards Middle School as part of Gwinnett Great Days of Service.
City of Lawrenceville official Dr. Judy Johnson throws down a hoe with the kids as Cameron Smith watches on.
A shovel sticks out of some dirt at Richards Middle School.
Kids showed up to help out at the school.
