Lawrenceville in book form

Shot this portrait the other week.  Mary Long wrote a book about Lawrenceville’s history.  The assignment was scheduled for her home, but my boss recommended asking her to head down town for the shoot if there wasn’t anything that could make a strong background.

While the reporter, Camie Young, interviewed her I looked at her book and came across this photo of the courthouse and decided to use that.

Mary Long, a lifelong Lawrenceville resident has written a book about the city’s history that is available from the Gwinnett Historical Society.
