Today we play the, “why did you submit the photo you did?” game. Here are some photos from a shoot I had today before I went to the basketball game. Guy was found dead by police in his apartment today, apparently they could tell it was a chance death based on how the body looked.
So here are a bunch of photos I liked from my edit, some look similar some are a bit different. I’ll explain for each one why I did or didn’t pick it.

| The PIO came out to talk so you got an officer and the crime scene both fairly easy to see given how big the photo is going to run. |
 |
| No people, and I’m not sure how I feel about the motion blur on the police tape. Wind came out of nowhere when I was shooting it and that happened as a result. |
 |
| Couldn’t get their names, they went to talk to an investigator and didn’t come back while I was at the scene. |
 |
| Can’t really see the town home where it happened. |
 |
| Asked the page designer how big the photo was running, and she said it was two columns, the guy is just too small for a photo that small. |

BAD ASS.
Well it tells the story the best.
Nothing like standing around a crime scene waiting for something to happen or someone to come out facing forward with something in their hands.
It works.
