Waffletines Day

Valentines Day struck in full force yesterday claiming another casualty in Waffle House.  The institution known for its waffles and 24 hour, 7 day a week operating schedule decided to branch out and provide candle-lit dinners for daring and adoring patrons.

Unfortunately the first reservation was not until 6 p.m. and my assignment was at 4 p.m.  I would have waited around but the deadline for the assignment was at 6:00 and it had already been a very long day since I had been at Run the Reagan since 7 a.m. and already had plans for the evening, otherwise I probably would have gone back for myself to complete the package.

Margie Thomas, H.R. specialist for Waffle House, ties a “Happy Valentine’s Day” balloon to a table as the Buford Highway store prepares for its candlelight dinners in honor of the holiday. The location took reservations for the event.
