Iron(man) Chef

North Gwinnett High School redid its home-ec lab so that it now it is now more of a “culinary arts” class.  They have restaurant-grade equipment and local chefs come in and teach lessons sometimes.

Chef Mike Chornyak of the Laurel Grove retirement facility finishes preparing some food for culinary arts students at North Gwinnett High School on Thursday. The school upgraded its family and consumer sciences classroom so that it now features industry standard equipment.

  1. i wis h i wouod have had this in high school. i hated HATED home ec. turned out, i loved cooking.
