Went to lunch with Brett at my favorite Indian restaurant today.  Udipi Cafe, located on Church St. in Decatur is a haven of vegetarian friendly south Indian food.  The other great thing about Udipi, besides the standard items you’d find on the buffet line of any self-respecting Indian restaurant, is the dosas.  The dosa, a gigantic Indian style crepe, comes filled with a potato and spice mixture that is simply fantastic.  Not even my beloved Bombay Cafe, RIP, served dosas standard with their buffet.

If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend it. They also have a second location in Duluth.
