My Life

The things I do for academia

Today my friend Paul was coming into town to do some research for his doctoral thesis.  Paul studies anthropology and is slightly obsessed with food, so he combined the two to come up with the topic of his thesis.

His research consists of observations about Mexican food and culture via Mexican restaurants in Atlanta and Houston.  Sam, Matt and I all participated in the study by filling out a questionnaire and then being treated to food thanks to a grant Paul got for his study.

Really, the things I do to support academia.
