My Life

Ode to food and furniture

One of the funny things about leases is how certain things are classified.  A few years back my friend Steve noticed in our lease that fish and other tank dwelling animals fell under the domain of furniture instead of actual pets.  “Pets” required a few-hundred dollar deposit, where as furniture did not.

Anyways, Brett owns a turtle named Cornelius so this post is dedicated to him.

This is Cornelius, he is my third roommate.  He is not food, he is legally considered furniture.

King of the castle.

Still considered furniture even when under water.

Furniture, because they are not real… or edible.

Almost food.  The food is inside these pieces of furniture.

Food!  Good food too.

My dinner.  Spaghetti with muhsrooms, spinach, onion, garlic and tuna lightly sauced and topped with parmesan.
