My Life

Vigil

The other day a friend of mine told me about a Black Gay-Pride convention happening in Buckhead this weekend, the first event of which was supposed to be a candle light vigil.  Apparently my definition of candle light vigil is different from other people’s, because this was the second one I went to where it was really nothing more than a stripped down religious service that had very little to do with candles or candle produced light.

I didn’t stay for too long because it wasn’t incredibly visual, but I tried to make due while I was there.
