A few days ago I heard that there was going to be a giant pillow fight down at Piedmont Park. Obviously, I made sure I was there to capture it. There were a lot of photographers there, but none of them seemed willing to get knee deep in the fight, well, except for me. I [...]
Last week I shot a varsity baseball game for North Springs. Not a huge fan of shooting baseball, primarily because fast moving small object does not combine well with lots of photographic equipment. Luckily I was able to shoot from behind fences the entire time so I never feared for my life.
While I was in Athens this past weekend I was asked to shoot Auburn’s Swim & Dive team during the SEC Championship competition which happened to be in town. Here are some of my favorites.
On Tuesday I shot a girls lacrosse game as part of my agreement with the North Springs High School yearbook. It was the first time I’d ever shot lacrosse and I really didn’t know what to expect. I have no idea of what the rules are or how large the field was. That said, I [...]

Demosthenian was founded in 1803 and I’ve shot them randomly and regularly for the past few years while I’ve developed as a photographer (see previous coverage of Demosthenian events by clicking here). Yesterday I shot an advertisement for Georgia Power. I brought my friend Scott in to assist for me since I needed someone to help me haul my gear around. It was an early morning, but everything went really smoothly. After the ad runs, I’ll post a copy here. Behind the scenes for the ad I [...]
