Kursk-Root Icon @ St. Mary’s of Egypt

On Sunday I traveled up to Roswell to take photos of the Kursk-Root Icon which was being shown at the St. Mary’s of Egypt Orthodox Church in Roswell.  For the record, shooting in dark places without flash is no fun.  Less fun is when you can’t get people’s name’s for captions because you don’t want to disturb the service and they are across the room and then disappear before you can get to them.

  2. Great photos!!!
I’m about to post an article on the Kursk root icon on my index of Black Madonnas. Can I use one of your photos if I make a link to your site?
