Lounging by the (mini)pool

This photo is running as a standalone in tomorrow’s paper.  I had to run back to my living space to pick something up today when I came across these kids playing in a small little pool in front of their home (mother was present but out of frame).

When I got back to the office the main complaint I had with my shoot was that i was shooting into the shadow created by the angle of the sun in the sky relative to the direction they were facing.  I got photos from other angles, but they weren’t usable for various reasons.  Oh well.  Better luck next time.
