Breckenridge, Colorado

Last Saturday before the wedding I was still on eastern standard time, meaning I woke up around 7 a.m. local time.  I took the opportunity to explore the town of Breckenridge and brought my camera along.  It reminded me of Helen, Ga., a bit.  It was kind of a touristy mountain town, like Helen, but without the German inspired architecture.

I ended up stopping for breakfast at the Columbine Cafe where I had pan-fried trout, hash browns, scrambled eggs and toast.  It was pretty good, but in retrospect I should have tried the pancakes because they were freaking massive.  Allegedly, two are more than enough to defeat the average grownup.  Sounds like a challenge to me.
