Before yesterday's Georgia Bulldogs vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets basketball game, one of the other photographers on the floor asked me who I thought would win.  I said I thought Georgia would, but it would be a close game.  I had no idea how close though as the final score would turn out to be 73-72.  It was really an exciting game, and luckily US Presswire had a second shooter there, Paul Abell, who covered one half the court while I covered the other.  It made my life easier in those last few minutes where I didn't have to figure out what side of the court I wanted to be on to get the potentially game winning shot. For the game I also tried out a pole cam, but this one was higher up than I've tried in the past.  I liked it better and normally I'm not a fan of pole shots, but I think these came out alright. Tonight was my final UGA basketball game of the season for The Associated Press.  Given that, I wanted to do it right and knock out everything I felt I'd been lacking over the past few months. If only I'd been

South Carolina came into Georgia today hoping for a repeat of Georgia's visit to South Carolina the other week. Well, despite being down to seven scholarship players Georgia managed to dominate the Lady Gamecocks. Two more photos here.

Shot the Men's game against Vanderbilt tonight. I felt like my photos tonight were better than I've been doing, so I was pretty happy about that. On the very last image below the cut, I wish Zac Swansey hadn't been covering

Georgia beat the Arkansas Razorbacks tonight. This was actually the first of a three day basketball marathon shooting session for me. Tomorrow night is Women's basketball against Alabama, and Monday I'm shooting the Hawks down in Atlanta (all assignments for

Tonight I shot Georgia's game against Alabama. I didn't feel like I got anything super special, but I've got two games this weekend I'm shooting so I'll have some more chances to try and up my game a level. Oh yeah,

Back in Athens shooting Georgia Basketball.  The game was looking to be a runaway against a team thats only won a single game this season, but Georgia was held virtually scoreless (excluding foul shots) during the entire second half allowing

Tonight I shot the Georgia-Grambling State game for the AP. Where exactly is Grambling State? I've never heard of it before. You can read about the game here. Here are two of the photos I put on the wire.

NIT Basketball   This was taken last wednesday at the first round of the NIT Men's Basketball Tournament. There are a lot of good things I like about this picture, but for some reason I wonder if it would have been better as
