Today I drove down to Anniston, Ala., for an interview for an internship they offer. On the way there I got a call from them asking if I could shoot a follow up one of their writers was doing about the tornadoes that had gone through a nearby city on Sunday.

A look through the shattered windows of the Burgess’s home reveals a collapsed roof.
The tornado that hit was strong enough to move the home from its base. This stoop and the front door used to line up.
A look into the destroyed kitchen.
Otis sits at his pond on the opposite side of the Burgess’s driveway from where their home was. Otis was not touched by the tornado illustrating the random nature of the weather pattern.
