Dixie Youth Baseball

The final assignment on Saturday was to get some quick shots of this baseball tournament going on in town.  I think by this point in world history everyone knows what baseball looks like.  That combined with not being allowed to shoot on the field made me think of other ways to try and knock out 3 shots before having to run back to the office.

A pitch thrown by Auburn Blue player John Howell is frozen midair during his teams game against Alexandria Saturday afternoon. This shot is sort of becoming a cliche for photographers, I’ve seen it done a number of times including David Manning (several months ago though).  Anyways, no one locally has done it from what I can tell so its still new to them.
