Yesterday I recieved a letter in the mail officially telling me that I had won first place for Spot News for the month of October for a photo I had taken of a tipped truck.

It should also be noted that Lindy Dugger, who I graduated with and who now works at the Rome News-Tribune took second place for the category.  Go UGAPJ.

A truck is pulled back onto its wheels after tipping over while making a turn off Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd on October 13, 2008.  The truck tipped over after its load, which was unsecured, shifted around and made the truck become offbalanced.
