Tonight the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta started up a month long series of free concerts. Tonight three groups played but I didn’t get there until right as the first act finished up. The three were Nerdkween, Tealights and Hope for agoldensummer from Athens. The shows are supposed to be outside, but the weather dragged them in tonight.
I’d heard the of Hope for agoldensummer many times while I lived in Athens but never saw them, although I did meet one of the members during an assignment I did for The Red & Black at one point because one of the members is a barista at Jittery Joe’s (see here).
