Yesterday and today, Vincent Laforet was in town for Atlanta Celebrates Photography month. Wednesday, he gave a lecture about his work and time at The Grey Lady where he won a Pulitzer. Thursday a number of his photographs were shown at an exhibit in the Matre Gallery off of Peachtree Road.
Vince is known for two things primarily these days, 1) Shooting aerials and other work with tilt-shift lenses and 2) creating the short film Reverie with a prototype Canon 5d Mark II.
Interesting guy with some great photos. Now here are some of my crappy ones.
