For those of you who don’t know, in early March I started working part-time at CNN.com in their interactives department. I’ve avoided bringing my camera to work for the past month, but I figured I might as well do it at least once. Here are the results. Most of these were taken before my shift, [...]
Shot another Hawks game on Sunday for US Presswire. The Pacers kept it pretty close but fell apart during the fourth quarter. I was kind of disappointed after I found out Tyler Hansbrough was on the Pacers but wouldn’t be dressing out. I also set up my floor remote again since I got my transmitter [...]
Sometime last year after I went freelance my friend from high school and UGA, Anna Tyler, asked me if I would be interested in shooting her and her fiance Tom’s wedding at Little Gardens in Lilburn/Lawrenceville. I was thrilled she asked me because I still didn’t have a ton of experience at that point and [...]
I’ve been taking MARTA a lot lately, so on my way to an assignment for The Augusta Chronicle the other day I took a few photos. MARTA, good times.
Last night at Hub Atlanta a bunch of people met up for the Atlanta “Twestival” organized by my friend Sam Lawrence. For a $10 donation to the humanitarian organization Concern, participants were treated to free Chipotle burritos and then drinks at Cypress Street Pint & Plate. Money raised by Concern went to benefit the people [...]
March 23rd was Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s so some friends and I hit it up to take advantage at the Virginia Highlands location in Atlanta. Ice cream is better when consumed with friends.
Earlier this week I shot my final sporting event for the North Springs High School Yearbook. The soccer game, against Lakeside High School, capped off 3 months of work and I am very appreciative of the North Springs yearbook team for giving me the opportunity to shoot for them. I always dreaded this part when [...]
On Saturday night I went to The Graveyard Tavern in East Atlanta as part of a birthday celebration for Leslie. She played pool for awhile while the rest of us watched/took photos/drank. This is not Leslie, this is some guy who was playing at another table.
As I mentioned the other day, I went out with my friend Kelvin and we took photos of the Atlanta skyline on Friday (see here). Before we did that though we hung out for awhile including making a trip to the Sports Authority. Kelvin shows off his ninja skills.
Last week I shot a JV Baseball game for North Springs. I got what I needed after the first few innings so I tried some other stuff, most of it I’m going to save for a future post, but one of the things I tested out can be seen immediately below. A composite of 7 [...]
