My name is Josh D. Weiss and I am a photojournalist. I work at the Gwinnett Daily Post in Larenceville, Ga., and I graduated from the University of Georgia in May of 2008 and majored in Newspapers and Sociology.

I became interested in photography at an early age but didn’t pick up my first SLR until my sophomore year of high school. Since then I have engrossed myself in taking photos and when the time came upgraded from film to digital.

This blog is the evolution of my website, “Desktop Cadence” which was meant to serve as a portfolio. Within these pages you will find my work with critiques of what I could have done better as well as any camera news I find interesting enough to present to you, the loyal reader.
