Spent a day and a half with Ed Sveum who makes appearances as Santa during the holidays.  It was pretty entertaining and he was really easy to work with.  I also made a soundslide which I’ll post later today.

Santa gets recognized even out of costume.  This guy saw Sveum’s car and said, “That must be your Miata.”  His license plate reads, “MRYXMAS.”

Here are the photos i shot at the Falcons game the other week for The Winston-Salem Journal.

The story was about this guy, Cliff Davis, who has kidney problems.  His health is failing and one of the things he wants to do before he passes is to go to as many Carolina Panthers football games as possible.

He’s been following the team across the country and the paper asked me to get shots of him when he came to Atlanta.  I met up with him at the tour bus he was taking and hung out with him a bit before the game before heading into the Dome.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank Lauren Carroll for recommending me for the gig to her boss.

On Sunday the paper ran a page spread of photos from various parks from around the county because Gwinnett placed 1st for best park system in the country.

Not all of these ran, but I liked them enough to post them here.

These are from the Mountain Park Aquatic Center, Ronald Reagan Dog Park and Rhodes Jordan Park in Gwinnett.

This was from one of the altars on display.
