Basketball: Philladelphia 76ers vs. Atlanta Hawks

Last week I shot another Hawks game for US Presswire.  I was incredibly tired because I had pulled my first shift for my new part time job at CNN.com which requires me to wake up really early, then I shot some high school golf for North Springs before I even got to Philips.
Also, when I [...]

AJC

Shot two assignments for the AJC today, one was a spot news assignment up in Duluth, the other was a rally for the census.  Check the papers and check back here to see the photos when I can post them.

Basketball: Marietta at Parkview

Last Saturday I shot the Marietta vs. Parkview girls first round playoff basketball game for the AJC.  Parkview was the #1 team in the state and undefeated.  They ended up losing by 1 point after they missed a last second shot.  Everyone was stunned.
During a game like this, where David defeats Goliath, it’s all about [...]

Basketball: Boston College vs. Georgia Tech

Last weekend I shot the Boston College vs. Georgia Tech basketball game for The Macon Telegraph.
Kind of a boring game, and I didn’t shoot too great either.  Oh well.

Tea Party of Georgia

Last Saturday I shot a Tea Party rally at the Georgia Capitol that marked the group’s one year anniversary in the state for the AJC.  Turnout was considerably smaller than the big bash they had last year that I shot (see here).  I’m not sure if its a sign that the group is losing supporters [...]

Basketball: North Carolina vs. Georgia Tech

Shot the UNC vs. Georgia Tech game on Tuesday for Macon.  It was a blowout, UNC dropped the game by 20 points.  Poor Roy Williams, it is not his year.

Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield

This past Sunday I shot some photos at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield up in Cobb County for the AJC.  After walking around for awhile, I decided I didn’t have a choice but to trek up the path to see what I could make.

Near the top of Pigeon Hill.

Kursk-Root Icon @ St. Mary’s of Egypt

On Sunday I traveled up to Roswell to take photos of the Kursk-Root Icon which was being shown at the St. Mary’s of Egypt Orthodox Church in Roswell.  For the record, shooting in dark places without flash is no fun.  Less fun is when you can’t get people’s name’s for captions because you don’t want [...]
