Deja Vu

Really, after I graduated from UGA I never really expected to come face to face with UGA President Michael Adams again, but less than a week into my job there I am again.

I’ve taken photos of him for three different papers at this point, its getting kind of absurd.

Anyways, UGA dedicated their new Gwinnett Campus building today so Adams was on hand for it.

Rain rain go away

With all the rain yesterday I was asked to shoot a stand alone, so I tried nabbing one during an assignment I had at Wesleyan School yesterday. They ended up not needing this for the paper, but I figured I’d go ahead and post it here.

Buford goes to Texas

A local high school football team is traveling to Texas for their season opener this week. Too early in the week to catch them getting ready to leave, and thanks to the weather practice was indoors. That left me trying to figure out how to make a different type of practice photo to go along with the story.

I wish I could have gotten it so the kid in the middle was tack sharp, but I couldn’t nail it exactly how I wanted. This was pretty close though since you can still tell he’s a football player holding a ball. Maybe its a little to abstract though, I ran it by the sports writer laying out the page though and he didn’t have a problem with it so hopefully it’ll go over with everyone else.
