Shot an assignment for The Telegraph in Macon today.  They needed photos from Georgia Tech’s spring practice of certain players. Due to the rain today though, Georgia Tech moved its practices up to the Atlanta Falcon’s practice facility in Flowery Branch.  The Falcons have an indoor field so Tech saw no reason not to practice.

The Falcons held their annual “Hometown Huddle” today.  The team broke up into groups and traveled around Metro Atlanta visiting schools and businesses doing various things.  One of their stops was at Lilburn Elementary School.  65 or so kids from the 4th and 5th grade were picked out by their teachers for good behavior to [...]

The Falcons 2008 Rookies went to the movies with some of Shiloh’s middle school football team.  They saw this new movie called “The Express” then signed autographs for the kids.
While I was there I met Jessica McGowen who shoots for the AJC, she’s also the daughter of my dental hygienist.

Got to shoot my first NFL game on Sunday between the Atlanta Falcons and the Detroit Lions.  Atlanta was led by its new quarterback Matt Ryan, formerly of Boston College, beat the Lions.  Tailback Michael Turner rushed for 220 yards setting a Falcons franchise record.
