Mexico’s Under 20 team played a soccer game against Jacksonville State earlier this week.  Jacksonville State lost 5-1, not that it was unexpected from what I can tell.  Another photographer who was there told me that JSU had only won 2 games last year.

I shot a Jacksonville State University football practice last week.  Lots and lots of football practices I shot last week, expect another high school football practice post later tonight.

I went and shot this big “Drum and Bugle Corps” (aka marching band) competition Sunday night.  The big question for me was how was I going to shoot it?  I’d never done anything like this before so I figured I’d try some safe shots of individuals playing, then spend some time doing more experimental shots [...]

These were for a story about this group’s visit to the Anniston Museum of Natural History.  It took me awhile to get my head in the game, but I think I got some good shots after I finally woke up.
