Last Friday, before high school football, I spent the day shooting stills for a training video that The Athlete’s Foot was putting together. Their headquarters was in Norcross so it was pretty convenient.
I had to build a makeshift white seamless background for some product shots but I’ve seen it done a few times in a [...]
Friday night I shot the Social Circle @ Wesleyan football game up in Norcross. No one had scored any offensive points against Wesleyan 5 games into the season, so the big question was if Social Circle would. Before the game people were talking about how they expected this one to be close. It wasn’t, final [...]
On Sunday I had the pleasure of taking some headshots/modeling shots of Hayden Field. Hayden contacted me after finding my website while looking for photos of 99x’s water balloon fight record attempt (which apparently failed).
Anyways, she liked the photos that I had gotten of her while her and a friend were diving in the mud [...]
Been doing stuff for the DOT this week and I won’t be posting stuff from those shoots until I get expressed permission, but seeing as how this shot really has no value to them whatsoever, I decided to go ahead and post it.
Tonight I shot a public meeting about converting the HOV lanes on 85 [...]
As basketball season winds down the last few of those portraits I shot back in October and November are all getting used. If any don’t run, I’ll put them on here after the championships, but there shouldn’t be that many.
I think this was actually one of the first ones I did. I did each guy [...]
First assignment this morning was at Wesleyan. The school was partaking in the Green Cup Challenge which involves trying to conserve as much energy as possible. To that end, the school encouraged students to bring flashlights to school today so they could shut off lights around the school.
Lots of headlamps, few flashlights.
These kids are some of the top swimmers at their school, but after they graduate in may they will either be going to Army or Navy.
I wasn’t sure how to illustrate the idea of them going to the service academy, so I just decided to have them group up and stand back to back against [...]
Last night I posted photos from a domestic disturbance call that resulted in a woman setting her mother on fire in front of her home, if you didn’t see the post click here.
During my shift today I got a call from my boss saying the lady passed away early this morning while in the hospital [...]
Shot my first national signing day event today at Norcross High School. I’d taken a look at what the AJC had been doing since they were posting the galaries regularly through out the day so I’d have an idea of what it was supposed to look like.
I got there early and shot some detail shots [...]
Today we play the, “why did you submit the photo you did?” game. Here are some photos from a shoot I had today before I went to the basketball game. Guy was found dead by police in his apartment today, apparently they could tell it was a chance death based on how the [...]
