Last night was the first of our four Laugh Your Ads Off Events hosted at TBWA\Chiat\Day LA. We sold out of our initial 100 tickets within a week of announcing the event and then an additional 30 tickets after Chiat let us release some more. We had 130 people total on the waitlist for the event.

The event featured three parts: a keynote from Andy Pearson (VP of Creative) about how he helped turn Liquid Death into a brand that consistently puts out some of the most viral comedy brand work, a stand up set from several people in the ad industry who also perform, and a showcase of comedic ads from LA agencies.

Session 2 is on Nov. 6th and will be focused on understanding what makes people laugh, how to write comedy and then how to direct it. You can buy tickets here for $25.
