I like using Reddit to gauge my different theories about social media, how people use it and what they gravitate towards. Obviously, different communities will like different things but as a whole Reddit has some of the most skeptical users on the internet. I pulled a photo I shot at some point last year and posted it and sure enough it hit the top spot.
This morning I posted a photo I shot of Venice, CA over the weekend on Reddit. It ended up as the top post in the Los Angeles sub.
To be fair, I did do a little bit of post to make the light more interesting, but I'm not a photojournalist anymore so I can play more loose with my edits and not have to feel bad about it.

I posted Clothes & Clothes Sans on r/Graphic_Design on Reddit and it ended up becoming the top post. Right now it's sitting at just above 1,000 upvotes (93% upvoted).
